Indian Ocean

I purchased Models Own Indian Ocean last month. Just never really got around to do a review.

It's pretty in the bottle but this is best layered on top of another color. It's very sheer even at two coats. It's a sheer baby blue with pink duochrome tiny glitters that change to gold and blue. I was going to push to three coats but I don't think it would have made a difference. You can still see the lines in my nails. Pictures below are Indian Ocean toped with HK Girl top coat. Excuse my stubs I broke several nails at once :(

Sweet Kernels

Another copious purchase...

I saw this polish on Facebook and I just had to have it. I was so pleased with Edwards Kiss I just knew Sweet Kernels was going to be great.

This is polish is part of Laceylou's Halloween collection.

Her description states its a "creamy orange base, extra fine yellow glitter, orange glitter, and orange flakes.

This is my description... Creamy peachy pink base with yellow glitter (that can be confused with gold glitter), dark bronze glitter, and light bronze flakes. Not to mention it smells like candy corn!

This is my 2nd polish by Laceylou and I love it. This polish can be great at any time of the year. She should consider keeping this in stock past Halloween and did I mention it smells like candy corn! If you haven't tried Laceylou I highly recommend it.

Sole Society Camila

Recently I bought a pair of shoes for 50% with free shipping. I purchased Camila in the color adobe. It was a steal! I think I watched the progress of my package being delivered every day until I received it.

When I got home the box was sitting on my counter and I tore it up to see my brand new babies. *sigh*

What a disappointment... The quality of the shoes were as if I went to the local flea market and purchased $6 shoes. On the website it stated it was true to size. That's true but it was so uncomfortable. It felt like a cardboard box with fabric and little studs that had paint on some of them. I am not going to rule them out just yet. There is some boots that I did like and I'm going to try my hand one more time. Has anyone else tried Sole Society and what did you think?

Orgasm Meets Flossy Flossy

Nars Orgasm has been a very much needed item for most people that like high end makeup. Me particular don't think I need it but the opportunity came up to swap for the Nars Orgasm nail polish. So of course I swapped :0)...

Orgasm is a gold shimmery peachy sheer polish. The 1st coat is very sheer. I did find myself trying to apply 4 coats to make it opaque but I held back. This color is very pretty on my skin tone (medium). I just think it is not for the fall winter months. This color is great during the spring and summer. This polish did leave me feeling like I needed more WOW!!

So of course I added more glitter to the equation.

Wet n Wild Flossy Flossy from a distances it looks like copper duo-chrome hexagons with different color glitters. When your close up its a pastel pink and gold duo-chrome hexagons with different pastel duo-chrome glitters (Blue, Green, and Silver). The polish it was in was a clear base. It was a OK formula and the application of the glitter was fair. I did have to apply a couple of times.

Overall I did like both polishes Nars is something I will definitely keep. Wet n Wild not so much anything spectacular about it.
