Collide

Went to Sephora a week ago to purchase Traffic Stopper Copper and on the other side of there OPI's they had shelves and shelves of other nail polishes (over exaggerating I know lol). So one of the sales ladies came up to me and was raving over Illamasqua nail polish and how she had it on over a week with no chips. So of course I asked did you touch it up with any clear polish during the week and with a Blank stare she said "NO". I was sold!!! My first Illamasque nail polish...It was very opaque at the first coat. No streaks, very smooth, and great for the summer. Collide is a wearable neon pink. Impressed by the quality of this polish. I foresee I will be back at Sephora to purchase more neon's for the summer!

DayGlow

After going to Ulta for about two weeks. I was not able to get my hands on the Orly's Feel The Vibe polish. Finally I gave in and ordered from Amazon. DayGlow from Orly is the only one I really wanted out of the collection. I am a sucker for white polishes in the summer. So when I heard they were going to have a white polish with a iridescent blue in it. I just had to have it! So after checking my mail everyday I final got it. *Sigh* Very disappointed!  You can hardly see the blue in the bottle so of course on your nails you can not see it all. It was so thick and hard to work with. It was goopy and a very bad case of the bubbles. Picture below is the mani I had in my last blog I added Dayglow. Did anyone else get the Feel the Vibe collection and if so what did you think?

Jessica Custom Colors

I haven't been blogging like I want to lately so I am making it up today with heavy swatches. My recent weekly visit to TJ Max I decided to purchase Jessica Custom Colors. It's not my first time seeing it but I just had never heard of it. I am so happy that I went with my gut because these polishes great for 5 polishes at $5.99. All Swatches were taken with natural lighting.

Blue Diamond-Creme opaque dark/black blue with tiny blue/green glitter, OK at one coat...pic has two coats

Sparkle (accent nail)- oh so pretty shimmery/glittery light blue/silver polish..my must favorite out of the five.

Blue Diamond & Sparkle close up

Overall I was very impressed on the quality of these polishes...If you find any at your local TJ Max I would Recommend you pick them up. I give these polishes a 4.5 out of 5.  Only because the package is just your normal glass bottle beside the Shake Your Booty Paint can. It was a cute idea but the top is plastic worried it might crack. Until Next time stay Nicely Polished!

Dreamer

Wanted to give a review on my first Llarowe nail polish. I took advantage of a sale that they had a couple of weeks ago of 49% off one polish. HITS Mari  Moon Dreamer is a purple multi chrome polish that turns cooper in sun light, blue in bright light and purple in well just regular light. The formula is great it definitely a two coater with no need of a dark base coat. I am very happy with my purchase. The only thing I wish was it was a bigger bottle and I should have purchased more of the different colors. I give this polish a 5 out of 5 because the color is awesome and I can see myself wear this a lot.

Robin -N- Daisy

I am apart of the Julep Family ...I received my package about a week ago and I am just getting around to giving my review. This month I changed from the It Girl package to the Boho Glam Package. Which contained Julep daylight defense SPF 30 hands and face cream. It supposed to hydrate skin and strength nails, while built-in SPF helps guard against fine lines and sun spots. So my 1st thought of this lotion is its to thin. After a minute of putting it on my hands felt like they needed to be washed. I couldn't think of what it smelled like. Until my son walked by and asked if I had put on sunblock. Also in my package was the Julep daylight defense SPF 15 Lip Balm in Vanilla Mint. The smell reminds me of Coca Butter lotion. Its very mint and glides on smoothly as expected. Lastly the two polishes I received this month was Robin and Daisy.

Robin is a creme opaque turquoise color. This color is nothing special but it is a classic. It was smooth not to thick not to thin. Very happy to add Robin to my collection.

Daisy is a canary yellow creme color. Daisy was not creme enough for me. To really see her color I had to apply about 3 coats. Her formula was not like Robin's. This color is great for the summer and would probably be great with nail art.

This months package I give it a 4 out of 5. I would probably have given it a full 5 if the hand and face cream would have been better. I also did not mention I received pixie sticks but they just mysteriously disappeared. lol

Mumbai Luxe Bracelet

Not only am I a polish fan...I love Jewelry too. I got into purchasing from jewelmint from watching YouTube Videos. Yes, I watch YouTube like it's a TV show! Am I the only one? lol If you have never heard of Jewelmint its a subscription service for jewelry. Jewelmint has hits and misses with there jewelry. I am not into small accessories. It has to be bulky and make a statement. So recently I purchased the Mumbai Luxe Bracelet in gold. Super excited when I got it in the mail. It is the perfect chunky bracelet. Its heavy does not look check. The hammered details on the disc is perfect. The only concern is the rope they put it on. Yes, I said rope...I am worried after wearing it the rope is going to start wearing out and break. Mumbai has been paired up with Cinema Americano Bracelet so you can see the difference in the shade of golds. Checkout Jewelmint <----Website!

After Hours

This past Saturday I paid a visit to Ulta because my 20% coupon was about to expire and I haven't been there in a while.

Unfortunately I did not see anything that caught my eye but I just could not pass up the 20% off. So Loreal it was. I bought a recent polish from Target VIP Status and decided why not add more from the Loreal Nail Color Riche collection. I bought two...Broozy Bruch and After Hours.

Broozy Bruch looks coral in the bottle but when you put it on its more of a orange creme color. It was a little thick for my liking and it streaks.

After Hours is a Dark Blue almost looks black but in the right light you can see its a navy blue. I had the same issue as Broozy Bruch. Very thick I was going to add thinner but It looks like its the formula.

I was a little disappointed in these polishes. They will be going to the back of the drawer until further notice. I give these polishes a 2 out of 5 only because they are affordable and the packaging is great.

Zoya...Valerie

I know its been a week since I posted anything. I just have been super busy with work...but none the less...
This polish was purchased a few weeks ago from Copious website. I believe this was from the 2010 Zoya collection.

Valerie is a deep burgundy color with bluish-purple and copper-gold of shimmer. It reminds of a  duochrome polish but with shimmer if that makes sense. :) It glided on very easily was not thick or to thin. The shimmer was distributed evenly. Very unique and I do not own anything like it. Only thing I did not like was the residue of the shimmer when your removing the polish. I give this polish a 4.5 out of 5

Below is a picture of 2 coats of Zoya Valerie and Milani Gold Jewel FX.
